Synopsis
Thread is a 2D traditionally animated short film inspired by the true stories of the "comfort women" who were forced into sexual slavery by the Japanese government during WWII. The film centers on a former comfort woman who must overcome the trauma of her past in order to find her voice.
1930년 세계전쟁 중 일본군으로부터 성노예로 고통을 받아야 했던 한 여성이 김학순 할머니의 첫 증언 이후, 자신의 트라우마를 세상에 알린다.
